Gettysburg Area High School Class of 1950 Ruth Mundis McClelland/Colonel Jacob Sheads Scholarship

This scholarship is established by the Gettysburg Area High School Class of 1950 in honor of their class advisors; business teacher, Mrs. Ruth Mundis McClelland; and history teacher, Colonel Jacob Sheads.

1. Students must be a Gettysburg Area High School senior or graduate.
2. Students must be enrolled or have submitted an application to the Gettysburg Campus of HACC.
3. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 at HACC or at Gettysburg Area High School.
4. Students must have unmet financial need.
5. Students must submit a personal statement with his/her educational, career, and/or personal goals and how this scholarship would help achieve those goals in areas related to history, business or education.
6. Preference will be given to students enrolled in HACC’s Business, Education or History Degree Programs.
