Jerome and Dorothy Getty FR Credit Scholarship

1. Students must be current or future HACC students. Future students must not have attended HACC in the past.
2. Students must live in one of the 11 counties in HACC’s service region: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, Schuylkill, York
3. Studnets must have unmet financial need
4. Students must be enrolled in one of the following programs before receiving the funds:
Advanced EMT (0026), Building Construction Management (4250) (4510), Diagnostic Medical Sonography (3426), Dental Assisting (3200), Dental Hygiene (3416), Fire Academy (0021), Fire Science Technology (6636) (6260), HVAC (4780) (4280), Municipal Police Academy Program (ACT 120) (0006), Precision Machinist/CNC Operator Program Certificate (0016), Welding (0500), Welding Technology (4161)
5. Current students must have at least 2.5 cumulative GPA at AHCC or must be making satisfactory progress in their HACC programs. SAP pertains to noncredit programs as student may not receive letter grades. Instead, they might receive evaluations of “satisfacory” or “unsatisfactory” or “pass” or “fail”
6. Future students must have at least a 2.5 cumulative (and final) GPA from High School or a GED.
7. Students will be given four years to complete their programs (starting from their first day of class). If difficult ciircumstances impact the students’ ability to complete their prgorams within the four-year time period, the donor, together with the HACC Foundation, may extend the time period.
